Biography

Turin—Beatrice Fowler, 84, of East Road passed away on February 3, 2010 at Lewis County General Hospital. She was born in Sangerfield, NY on February 21, 1925 a daughter of David and Helen Graves Jones. She grew up in the Town of Greig and in Glenfield in 1952 she married Milton Fowler. Milton died in July of 2002. During WWII She worked at Rome cable, later becoming a Homemaker. Beatrice enjoyed Quilting Sewing and Knitting.
Surviving are one son Rodney Fowler, Turin; one daughter and son-in-law Gail and Herbert Young, Boonville; one brother and sister-in-law Robert and Geraldine Jones, Greig; two sisters Bernice Mihalyi, Glenfield and Bonnie Kogut of Greig; two grandsons Mark and Brad young; one great-granddaughter Olivia. She is predeceased by two Brothers Don Jones and David Jones; two Sisters Phyllis Youngs and Jean Markham.
A grave side service will be held in the spring at Old Glendale Cemetery, Glenfield. Calling hours will be 2-4PM on Monday February 8, 2010 at the Mills Funeral Home 301 Post Street, Boonville. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Turin Vol. Fire Dept.
