DWAYNE C. HUNDLEY U.S. ARMY RETIRED
Boonville—Dwayne C. Hundley, 45, of Miller woods road passed away unexpectedly on February 3, 2010. He was born in Cristobal Canal Zone, Panama on December 27, 1964 a son of Delbert and Juanita Simms Hundley. He grew up in W. Virginia and after graduating from high school in 1983 he joined the U.S. Army. Dwayne was stationed in Germany, Bosnia, Ft. Drum, Griffis AFB, Georgia, Hawaii and then to Ft. drum until retiring in 2004 as a Staff Sergeant. He was currently employed as a supervisor for Orion Bus Ind. In Oriskany. On October 31, 1994 in Ewa Beach Hawaii he married Melissa Kent. Dwayne was a member of the Charles J. Love Post American Legion of Boonville. He also loved Hunting, fishing and being outdoors.
Surviving are his wife Melissa, Boonville; one son Douglas Hundley, W. Virginia; parents Delbert and Juanita Hundley Spring Lake N. Carolina; one brother and sister-in-law Delbert Jr. and Kathleen Hundley, Virginia; one sister and Brother-in-law Barbara and Chris Mcsparren, Spring Lake, N. Carolina; Father and Mother-in-law Wayne and Winnie Kent, Boonville; brother and sister-in-law Vincent and Jennifer Gilbert, Boonville; Raymond and Stephanie Gilbert, Black River, NY; Wayne Jr. and Heather Kent, Port Leyden; Robert Kent, Boonville; several nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
A memorial service will be held at 10am on Tuesday February 9, 2010 at the Mills Funeral Home, 301 Post Street, Boonville with Rev. Bill Mudge officiating with military honors to follow. Calling hours will be on Monday from 6-9PM at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Boonville Fire Co.
